Capstone Update: October 2019

Hi all,

So it has been a few weeks since my last update, so just to let you know how I’ve been getting on. For the last month or so I have been doing a little bit of touring in Brazil, one of my favourite countries in the world.

Despite some of the resent political unrest, largely in my opinion is a great country with good food, weather and some of the best beaches in the world! Those that know me, already know that I’m a beach boy so any chance I get, you’ll find me lazing around near a coast 🙂

The cities that I visited were, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and Brasília. Traveling between these cities leaves you in awe of just how big a country it is! One friend told me that one journey by car within a city took 14 hours!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

While I was there, I took the opportunity to train done Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and met with some good friends. I really recommend this sport for not only it’s physical benefits, but also it’s mental benefits. For me, this sport is about keeping my body healthy while working on my mental ability to persevere in difficult situations. As I’ve heard many seniors say that this sport is designed for people to quit and if you have ever tried it, I’m sure you’ll agree lol.

After returning from Brazil, I signed up to competition which happily I obtained gold and silver medals for. By combining the Capstone Patten techniques along with the consistent training I attended, helped to line up the universe with my intentions. Capstone Pattern

At the core of the capstone pattern, is the ability to merge the following:

a) Creative visualisation using the five senses of see, hear, touch, taste and smell.

b) Distinct breathing practice to fuse and imprint your mental creation down into your physiology.

The above can be supplemented with meditation, yoga, mindfulness and other works that allow you to practice concentration.  Effectively what you are doing is reprogramming the subconscious in order that you automatically begin performing in a manner congruent with what you wish to achieve.

Caution!

A word of warning with this though.. If you think this will be easy, then I’m sorry to tell you, it’s not.. It takes discipline and consistency which is difficult for a lot of people to do. Don’t worry though, because I’m here to help. Start off small as shown in the Capstone Pattern book and you’ll soon see that it’s benefits will be automatically moving you forward towards your desired objectives.
